mixed feelings on this one
small room poor temperature control
the room was quite small. seriously, i think my closet back home is bigger. also, the temperature control was a joke! the thermostat seemed to be there for decoration only. i called the front desk twice about it, but nothing changed. i think the hotel likes being stuffy.

excellent downtown stay!
smooth check-in clean room walkable location
Check-in was super smooth! i even got to check in a few hours early, how awesome is that?! the room was very nice and super clean too. Everything was super clean. the location is killer. You can walk to everything. i totally recommend!
The room got a little noisy at night. there were sirens and vehicles. It woke me up a couple of times.

The fitness center features three treadmills. it also has two stationary bikes. Everything looked modern. a water cooler is provided, and towels are available during their workouts too.

adequate stay, some drawbacks
pleasant staff great breakfast mediocre coffee bizarre lift
The staff was easy to deal with, and they were pleasant. i had no issues during either checking in or checking out. the breakfast at the hydra restaurant was also great. It was a la carte.
the pillows were so-so. the coffee machine produced mediocre coffee at best. the lift system is bizarre, you have to pre-order your lift to a designated floor.

uncontrollable temperature reduced flow
The temperature in my room was not controllable. it was stuck at 21 degrees. the front desk said that engineering controls the temperature. they offered a fan. the shower head had reduced flow. I prefer more pressure.

great downtown stay
excellent service clean hotel quite location
the staff showed excellent service. the hotel offered a clean environment. the location presented a quite atmosphere even for being in the heart of the city. i would stay here again for sure.
the hotel did not have a pool or hot tub.

the gym includes treadmills and stationary bikes. there is also a water dispenser and towel service available . access requires a key from the front desk, ensuring security.

the beautiful king room featured a separate toilet area from the shower. the bathroom contained l'occitane products. i found limited storage possibilities for clothes. the bed used comfy pillows.

attentive staff easy access clean room yoga area
The staff was attentive. I found them very helpful with directions. the location provided easy access to nearby attractions. the room was clean and well-kept. the gym's yoga area, including a block and towel, was great for my morning stretches.
The temperature in the room was a little warm. I couldn't adjust it directly from the room, it was centrally controlled, not ideal.

I found the prices at the hotel restaurant a little high. two glasses of wine totaled sixty-two dollars. That felt quite expensive. however, i appreciated the convenience of having the option available, should i need it.

my room included bottled water, coffee, tea, and milk. the bathroom had a heated floor, robes, and slippers! i really enjoyed those features. the bed was very comfortable too.

The hotel's location was so convenient. It was just a five-minute walk to canada place. a bus stop to stanley park was right outside the hotel too. The proximity was appreciated. i found the area easy to navigate.
